Charles Lindbergh, the renowned aviator, is widely known to have been a member of the Fraternity. Lindbergh was a Brother of Keystone Lodge No. 243 in St. Louis, Missouri.
But, one of the more famous "Masonic" photos of Lindbergh relates to a small, social Masonic group called the Sciots. Lindbergh was a member of this group and they held a ceremonial in his honor.
The Sciots still exist today primarily in California, with other local Chapters in New Jersey and Illinois.
