The George Washington Masonic National Memorial was dedicated 90 years ago today! It is the only Masonic building so far to be supported by all US Grand Lodges, and its construction was fully funded by donations from individual Freemasons and Masonic groups.
One of its most famous donors was President Harry Truman, a Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Missouri.
His contribution to the memorial was one that's impossible to miss: the 17-foot bronze statue of Washington at the entrance.
