An original portrait of nearly every Grand Master hangs in The Masonic Temple in Philadelphia, dating back hundreds of years. Shown here is the latest portrait, completed by artist Travis Simpkins, of Bro.
Thomas Gamon IV, our most recent Right Worshipful Past Grand Master.
Additionally, portraits of key figures in the fraternity's history, such as Past Grand Treasurers and Past Grand Secretaries adorn the building.
Many other pieces of original Masonic art also festoon the halls and Lodge rooms, providing a unique look into our history. The Grand Lodge also sponsors an annual art contest to promote artistic interpretations of the Craft into the present day.
