Freemasonry - Grove at Masonic Village at Elizabethtown in 1911
Blair County Masonic lodges funded the original Memorial Grove at Masonic Village at Elizabethtown in 1911.
In 1920, Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, Harrisburg, paid to have 268 oak trees planted around the site to represent those Pennsylvania Freemasons killed in World War I.
2014 brought another addition to the Veterans Grove - the iconic Eternal Flame, which serves as a tribute to active military personnel and veterans.
